Distinguished author, professor, and former IEEE Access Editor-in-Chief
Given his vast editorial, authoring, and IEEE leadership experience, he will provide critical insights on IEEE’s peer review and submission processes and tips on what editors look for in submissions. Other presenters from IEEE will cover additional topics such as open access programs for institutions, research strategies using the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, author tools, and other important resources for authors.
Richard Chandra
International Area Manager for APAC, IEEE
Richard Chandra is the International Area Manager for seven markets in Asia Pacific (APAC): Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Pakistan. Prior to joining IEEE in 2018, he had held various sales and marketing positions at Wiley, HMH, and McGraw-Hill.
Alex Liu Yupeng
Client Services Manager, Asia, IEEE
Alex Liu is the manager for Client Services, Asia at IEEE, who works closely with customers in APAC to provide customized learning opportunities about publishing with the IEEE and in-depth training sessions to help users master best practices in searching the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Alex graduated with a Master’s degree in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University.

Regional Sales Manager, IEEE APAC
Ira Tan and her team work closely with the designated subscription dealers in each Asia-Pacific located country in an effort to drive and create awareness for IEEE Xplore users in the region. She has more than two decades of experience in the publishing industry, providing sales expertise in research, educational and consumer markets.
