World Wildlife Day
World Wildlife Day 2020 focuses on “Sustaining all life on Earth”. It is a great opportunity to raise awareness about the breathtaking diversity of all wild animal and plant species as key components to the world’s biodiversity, and how we can protect them for future generations.
Cambridge University Press are celebrating World Wildlife Day by curating a collection of work across the subjects of Ecology and Conservation, Biological Anthropology, Entomology, Natural Resource Management, Evolutionary Biology, Marine Biology, Animal Behaviour, Plant Science, Life Sciences and Earth and Environmental Sciences.
This collection contains a wide range of online articles, books, journals and blog posts written by, or about, leading academics and pioneers.
We aim to share, and make accessible, the excellent knowledge and research of our authors around this incredibly important issue.
“On this World Wildlife Day, let us remind ourselves of our duty to preserve and sustainably use the vast variety of life on the planet. Let us push for a more caring, thoughtful and sustainable relationship with nature…” — UN Secretary-General António Guterres
